2023 CES Race Day Resort
The CES Race Day Resort (RDR) is an exclusive area just for CES athletes, Fleet Feet Racing Team and our CES Charity Partner Marathon athletes and is centrally located at Roosevelt University, just west of Buckingham fountain, on the corner of Michigan Ave. and Ida B. Wells Blvd.
 
It's the perfect spot to meet up, stay warm, stash your gear, use the facilities and prepare for a great race.
 
After you've crossed the finish line, reunite at the CES Race Day Resort with your fellow CES participants to relax and celebrate your big day!

PRE-EVENT Race Day Resort Loading & Setup
This category involves loading CES van in Lincoln Square & setting up Race Day Resort at Roosevelt University prior to race day. Feel free to register for multiple shifts!
Shift 12:30 - 4:00pm. Must be able to lift heavy - 25lbs plus - items
Shift 9:30am-1:00pm. 430 S. Michigan Ave. Must be able to lift heavy - 25lbs plus - items and walk up and down stairs for multiple trips.

RACE DAY RESORT - Sunday, October 8
We have a variety of volunteer positions needed that will be assigned upon arrival at Race Day Resort, such as: General site help, Medal engraving, Gear Check, Greeter/Check-in, Recovery Boots & Aligned Modern Health stretching check-in.
This position will help us with set up and staffing Gear Check for our runners.

CHICAGO MARATHON EXPO: Credential Pickup & CES Promo
Thursday, October 5, Friday, October 6 & Saturday, October 7 at McCormick Place. Check in and distribute credentials for entry into Race Day Resort, help answer questions about Race Day Resort and help promote CES programs. Feel free to register for multiple shifts!
Expo Shift: 10:30am - 1:30pm for CES Expo Booth. Assist with RDR pick up as well as help promote Winter Warriors and the Surf City Marathon
Expo Shift: 1pm - 4pm for CES Expo Booth. Assist with RDR pick up as well as help promote Winter Warriors and the Surf City Marathon
